Oswaldo "Ozzy" Saravia

Oswaldo Alejandro “Ozzy” Saravia is a native of Guatemala City, Guatemala. Ozzy joined Macon Soccer Club after finishing his college degree in Business Administration at Brewton-Parker College in 2010. Soccer has always been part of his life. Ozzy started playing soccer at the age of 4 in Guatemala City at Menedy Soccer Academy until the age of 13 before he was selected to be part of the development divisions of the professional team Comunicaciones. At club Comunicaciones, Ozzy had the opportunity to play for the under-15, under-17, and under-20 team and be part of the 2006 Professional First Team for a period of 6 months where he had the opportunity to make his official debut on the Guatemalan National First Division under International Coach Miguel Angel Brindisi. In 2006, he was recruited in by Georgia Perimeter College where he played for 1 year. In 2007, Ozzy transferred to NAIA Division-I Brewton Parker College where he played his remaining 3 years of college eligibility. During his club career in Guatemala City, he achieved several under age National championships and was pre-selected for the under-17 Guatemalan National Team. During his college soccer career as an international student, Ozzy achieved region and conference championships. This is Ozzy’s 7th year as a trainer at Macon Soccer Club where he always expects to serve in the best way possible to improve the club and show the new generation of soccer players why it is called “the beautiful game.”
