All of our Academy Teams participated on the Atlanta Peach Classic Tournament the weekend of May 21/22, and they represented Macon Soccer Club (SAF North) will great success.
U9G (2008) Elite - Runners Up
Our 08G participated on the Gold (top) Division. On the road to the championship match, our girls won 2 games (5-1 vs Liberty SC West 08G and 4-0 vs AFC Lightning 08G Red) and lost 1 game against the same team they would face on the final game (1-5 vs 08 RYSA Lady Revs). Our girls came out ready to take on the team they had just lost against a few hours earlier, and although they managed to get up on the score twice, the Lady Revs came back twice from behind and ended up defeating our girls 3-2 on a very exciting and intense final match. This team is train by Adrian Juarez/Hollis Springer and coach by Jeremiah Bivins.

U9B (2008) Elite - Runners Up
Our 08B participated on the Maroon Division. After winning their group stage games on Saturday (5-0 vs DDYSC 08 Wolves United and 4-3 vs AFC Lightning 09 Gold), they qualified for a place on the semi-finals. On this semi-final game our boys defeated DDYSC 08B Red 4-0, making it to the Final game where they would encounter DDYSC 08 Wolves United once again. Unfortunately, this time around our boys were defeated 1-0 after a hard fought final match. This team is train/coach by Markus Aldaba

U11G (2006) Elite - Champions
Our 06G participated on the U11/U12 Maroon Division, and they brought home Champions trophy. Our girls had to work very hard to make it to the final match. Every group stage game was very competitive. They finished 1st on the Group Stage standing after winning 2 games (4-3 vs UFA-Norcross 06G Red and 2-1 vs Columbus Lady Rangers U12) and tying one game 2-2 vs Lady Chiefs 06. On the final match, they would face Columbus Lady Rangers U12 again. The game was decided by a penalty kick that gave our girls the 1-0 lead on the first half. Our girls worked very hard to retain that lead and although they had some chances to add another goal on the scoreboard, the final score remained 1-0. This team is train by Jessica Ivey and coach by Chris Wrabel.

U11B (2006) Elite - Champions
Our 06B Elite team participated on the U11 Gold Division. With 4 teams on this division, our boys managed to finish on 1st place on the standings after 2 wins (4-1 vs Georgia Storm 07B Gold and 5-1 vs DDYSC 06B Wolves Premier) and a tie 0-0 vs 06 Rapids Black. This last game was suspended at half time due to thunderstorms. On the final match, they would face 06 Rapids Black and this time they would play the full game. After being down 2-0 after just 5 minutes of play, and 3-1 at halftime, our boys regrouped, shook it off and started playing like they have done all season. Their hard work and perseverance paid off and managed to put the ball in the net 6 unanswered times in the second half to complete an amazing come back and win the game with a final score of 7-3. This team is train/coach by Thiago Aleixo.
