08 Girls Elite Triumph at GSA Puma Invitational
Our 08G Elite team finished their season achieving another championship when they participated at the GSA Puma Invitational. They were seeded on the the tournament's top 9v9 division, among other 5 strong teams from Atlanta. They won both of their Saturday Group Stage games (2-0 vs NTH Tophat 08G Navy and 5-0 vs Concorde Fire 08G Central Black), advancing to the semifinals. On Sunday's semifinal game, they defeated NTH Tophat Milton 08 Navy 3-1 to qualify to the championship game. On the final match, they will meet with NTH Tophat 08G Navy again, but this time the game ended 0-0 so our girls had to decide their faith with kicks from the mark (penalty kicks).

UFA Fall Classic Tournament Highlights
Macon Soccer Club was represented by 13 teams (11 Academy & 2 Select) on the prestigious UFA Fall Classic tournament in Cumming, GA. Out of these 13 teams, 6 of them reached the championship game, where 4 of them were crowned champions and 2 ended as runners-up. Please read below for some of these teams' tournament highlights.
2010 Girls Elite
Finalists - Samba Division (2-1-1). Defeated 3-2 by All In FC Snellville 2010 Girls on the last minute of the game.

2011 Girls Finished Runners-Up at the AFC Resurgens Orthopedics Challenge
On their first ever tournament participation, our 2011 girls reached the final game and were very closed from bringing their first championship home. The girls started the tournament by losing a close game against NTH-Tophat 11 Gold Milton (0-2), but were able to recover quickly to win their 2nd game against Atlanta Fire 2011 Silver (6-2) and qualified to the semis. On their semi-final match, they would draw Atlanta Fire Silver again, and this time the would win by a score of 7-1. On their first Academy Tournament final match ever, the girls went down 0-3 against SSA Northside 11G Elite, but then with 10 mins left in the game they managed to score 2 goals and pushed hard to tie the game. Unfortunately, they run out of time and the game ended 3-2. This team is coach by Adrian Juarez.
