Select Season Highlights
Below are some of the highlights from our Select teams representing MSC in Georgia Soccer.
2009 Boys Elite
MSC’s 09B Elite finished their first Select regular season in 1st place in GYSA’s Championship South Division and gained promotion to GA Soccer’s top division (GPL) for the upcoming Spring 2022 season. The team won every game played finishing with an astonishing record of 10-0-0, accumulating a total of 50 points, and with a goal difference of +32. This team is coached by Matthew Fuller.
2009 Girls Elite
Our 09G Elite finished their first Select regular season in 2nd place in GYSA’s top (GPL) Division and gained promotion to Piedmont Conference (National League) for the upcoming Spring 2022 season. The team was undefeated with a record of 7-3-0, accumulating a total of 41 points and juts a point behind 1st place, with a +14 goal difference. This team is coached by Tony Economopoulos.
2006 Boys Elite
MSC’s 06B Elite finished their regular season in 2nd place in GYSA’s 17U Championship Division and gained promotion to GPL for the following Fall 2022 season. The team accumulated a total of 32 points with a record of 6-1-1, and a goal difference of +15. The team is coached by Ashani Samuels.
UFA Fall Classic Tournament Highlights
Macon Soccer Club was represented by 11 teams (9 Academy & 2 Select) on the prestigious UFA Fall Classic tournament in Cumming, GA. Out of these 11 teams, 4 of them reached the championship game, where 2 of them were crowned champions and 2 ended as runners-up. Please read below for some of these teams' tournament highlights.
2012 Girls Elite
Champions - Copa Division (3-0-1). Defeated UFA 12G Red 4-0 on the final game.

2009 Girls Elite
Champions - Copa Division (4-0-0). Defeated Florida Elite Tallahassee 09G Elite 3-0 on the final game.

2011 Boys Elite
Finalists - Mundial Division (2-0-2). Defeated by SSA Central Premier 2-1 on the final game.
Group Stage Results: 4-0 vs GAFC 2011 Boys, 2-0 vs IAFC Blues 11B Gold, and 1-2 vs AFC Lightning 2011B Red

2010 Girls Elite
Finalists - Mundial Division (3-0-1). Defeated by NTH-Tophat 10 Navy Milton on penalty kicks on the final game after tying 0-0.
Group Stage Results: 7-0 vs NGSA 10G LaGrange, 11-0 vs Fugees GU 12, and 5-0 SSA 10G A1 Black
