Easter Dutch Tournament

Girls will play at 1pm/Boys will play at 3pm

Each player will have a series of short 6 minutes games (approximately 6 games). Players get 2 points if their team wins, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss. At the end of each game, players will report their score and be reassigned to a different team. At the end of all 6 games, the player with the most cumulative points wins the tournament. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each division, as well as costume prizes!!! We will have a combined U9/U10 division and a combined U11/U12 Division.

Will there be coaches? No, there is no coaching in a Dutch style tournament. This is for the kids to have fun while learning to organize and communicate among themselves.

If players are constantly changing teams, what jersey should they wear? Players are encourage to wear costumes or dress with non-matching outfits. Each player will be given their own training vest for the day. Teams will be divided by vest, or no-vest (costume)

                *Kick-ins (instead of throw-ins)
                *Goal kicks and corner kicks for balls over the end line
                *Indirect kicks - all free kicks, kick-ins, kick offs, and goal kicks. Penalty kicks and corners are direct

*Goal kicks - taken from any point on end line

                *Penalty kicks - taken from the center of the midfield line
                *Five Yard Rule – defending players must keep 5 yards back from the ball on all kick-ins, free kicks, kick offs, corner kicks, and goal kicks

*No scoring from own half

*No offsides
*No goal keepers
*No ball contact within goal box (5 yards)
