Robert Ochieng

AFC Lightning Middle Georgia Select Coach - U13 Boys Gold

Robert Ochieng was born in Kenya, but raised in the U.S. He played his whole youth career at Macon Soccer Club (former MGSA & Hearts), representing the club at the Classic 1 GYSA Division on all his playing years. He also played Varsity all 4 years for Mount de Sales Academy, where he lead the team to 2 State Championships. His soccer career continue at Shorter University, where he earned All Conference status for four years, a National Player of the Week title, and an All American Honorable Mention in 2013. He has most recently served as Tattnall’s head coach for the middle school soccer teams and assistant coach for the varsity soccer teams, before taking over as their boys' Varsity Head Coach in 2017. In Fall 2019, he accepted the position as Varsity Boys Head Coach of his Alma Matter, Mount de Sales Academy. Coach Ochieng is entering his 6th year as part of MSC's Academy Coaching staff.
